Thanks for joining me!
Usually the goal for most journeys is a destination. However, I have learned that the fun along the way is the adventure and the true destination! This adventure began when I opened my new loft studio March 1, 2001.
I am enjoying the freedom of thought and inspiration, applying acrylic paint with large brushy strokes on large canvasses. Currently, I am experimenting with the use of silver paint on large landscapes, including the two Merit Award winning paintings as fine examples. “Dusk at Lake Monroe” #1, won at the Heartland Artists Exhibition and #2 won a Merit Award in the 82nd Hoosier Salon Exhibition in 2006.. Two large 48" x 36" paintings "Sunshine & Flowers" and "Cosmos" 1 are my newest works. They both reflect our summer garden of flowers in front on Hawthorne St.
“If Winter Comes . . .”2, a favorite subject of mine, is shown right.
In my studio two canvasses are in progress waiting to be finished.
The journey continues, please come along. I would love to know if you enjoyed your time with my paintings!! |
